The brief
Jonas wanted to bottle the specific green bitterness of a tomato plant's stem, which most perfumers avoid because it reads as vegetal rather than floral and does not test well.
A greenhouse in August
Humid, green and faintly bitter — tomato leaf and wet earth under glass. The least polite thing we make.

How it was made
01
Jonas wanted to bottle the specific green bitterness of a tomato plant's stem, which most perfumers avoid because it reads as vegetal rather than floral and does not test well.
02
Galbanum resin at an unusually high 4% gives the sharp green cut. It is balanced with a fig accord and real oakmoss, the latter restricted under IFRA rules, so the formula sits at the maximum permitted level and cannot be pushed further.
03
The first ten minutes are genuinely challenging — bitter, almost sappy. It resolves into damp soil and cedar and becomes, by the end, quite soft. People either return the bottle or buy a second.

I have worn this for two years. It smells like my grandmother's greenhouse and nothing else comes close.
Respect the craft, could not wear it. The opening is very bitter. Try before buying.
