The material
Tomato leaf absolute is the difficult centre. It is aggressively green and turns metallic if overdosed, so it sits at 0.4% under a galbanum resinoid that gives it somewhere to land. The terracotta note is a mineral accord built on cyclamen aldehyde and a trace of ambrette seed.

On skin
It stays green for the first two hours and then drops into wet earth rather than drying out. Wearers who dislike it usually dislike it immediately; there is no sweet opening to negotiate with.

It smells like my grandfather's glasshouse — the clay pots more than the plants. I have never smelled anything else like it.
