How it was made

The material
Geosmin, the compound responsible, is detectable at five parts per trillion and unusable above about twenty. The dose here is a rounding error. Everything else in the formula exists to hold it up long enough to be noticed.

On skin
Extraordinary for the first ten minutes and then it becomes a quiet mineral musk. Several wearers have described the opening as unsettling, which we take as accurate.
